After upgrade to 7.6.1 I can't get the POPPASSD plugin to work. Nothing is ever displayed with it enabled.
I tried to re-install as per:
http://www.afterlogic.com/wiki/Password_change_via_POPPASSD_%28WebMail_Plugins%29
Still not working. Anyone get this to work on 7.6.1 ?

Can you please confirm whether you have used the plugin from WebMail package under examples/plugins/ directory, or the one available for download here? It appears that the two went out of sync with the new 7.6 release, so we'd appreciate if you try both the versions and let us know if any of these worked for you.

I was using the version from : https://github.com/afterlogic/plugin-poppassd-change-password/archive/master.zip
I'll try using the one that ships with 7.6.1 in the examples folder.

Update:
Using the one from the examples folder didn't fix the issue. The change password is still missing from the email account properties page.
From my config.php
'plugins.poppassd-change-password' => true,
'plugins.poppassd-change-password.config.host' => "127.0.0.1",
'plugins.poppassd-change-password.config.port' => 106,
The service is up and running:
# telnet 127.0.0.1 106
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to wwww.xxxxxx (127.0.0.1).
Escape character is '^]'.
200 poppassd hello, who are you?
All this worked before the update to 7.6.1.

Hello,
I've tested this and verified that plugin actually works, in terms of displaying "Change Password" button at least.
Please make sure the plugin is placed to the correct path:
data/plugins/poppassd-change-password/index.php
Also, make sure that account in question is in default domain, or that IMAP hostname of the domain equals IMAP hostname of default domain. Otherwise, the account is considered external and password change is disabled for it.

Oh, and one more thing: make sure users are allowed to change email account settings for this to work.

It seems that this functionality has changed. In previous versions you could have AllowUsersChangeEmailSettings set to "Off" and still allow them to reset their password if the POPPASSD plugin was enabled. Now AllowUsersChangeEmailSettings has to be set to "On" exposing all these extra settings that our users don't need to see.
Why the change? We've found that all the extra settings confuse our users. Any easy way to get this to function like it did before ?

I've just rechecked this with the developers and confirmed that having "Allow users to access accounts settings" unchecked should not prevent from having "Change Password" button so it looks like a bug which will be taken care of. Thank you!

Just a note that this still doesn't work in the newly released webmail lite 7.6.2. You still need AllowUsersChangeEmailSettings set to "On" before the change password button will show.

You're right, that wasn't fixed in 7.6.2 yet. Currently it's scheduled for 7.6.3 release.
