Hello,

I have installed webmail lite. Everything is fine until I want to connect to the mail account.
I have linked webmail lite with my gmail account, and configured accordingly in the admin panel (server imap, etc). However, when I want to login with my gmail account information it doesn't work (I tried login and login@gmail.com), I have the following message which appear:
"the username or password you entered is incorrect."

Here are three logs: my connection attempt with login@gmail.com, login, and a random login (I changed my website adress by ***, my login by **login**, and password by **pass**, and the random login is qzefzefqzfq)

It looks like creating new accounts on login is disabled. Make sure you have "Only already registered users can access WebMail" option unchecked under Domains > default domain settings.

I did try with the option "Only already registered users can access WebMail" checked and unchecked, however with the same result.

I'll ask the developers if they have any idea on this. In the meantime, check your GMail account settings and make sure that IMAP access is enabled, see "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.

Well, based on the log, "Only already registered users can access WebMail" option is to be blamed. Can you provide another log, with that option unchecked?

Note that the setting should affect AllowNewUsersRegister option in data/settings/settings.xml file, make sure this setting is actually set to On (which matches the unchecked option), we'll need the log reflecting login attempt.

Even if I haven't changed anything, now it's working!
