While our default webmail client was installed on our sub-domain webmail.domain.com and the mail servers were pointed to it, we installed AfterLogic WebMail Lite on our domain's root folder htdocs about a year back which we launch like www.domain.com/AfterLogic WebMail Lite/ and it was working fine with all it's features until we brought some changes in our DNS settings.

However, still our default webmail url is something like webmail.domain.com which we can access without any trouble but recently we are unable to access AfterLogic WebMail Lite which is installed on our domain's root folder which we launch like www.domain.com/AfterLogic WebMail Lite/

Things to note here are,

1. Default webmail client is installed on webmail.domain.com
2. Default webmail client is pointed to an ip address which is different than www.domain.com
3. There is no www.prefix with webmail.domain.com but we use domain.com with www.prefix like www.domain.com where AfterLogic WebMail Lite is installed.
4. We had been using the same mail servers of webmail.domain.com for www.domain.com/AfterLogic WebMail Lite/ when it was working fine and still we are using the same mail servers when it's not working.
5. Both www.domain.com & webmail.domain.com have been pointed to their own separate ip address in A record.
6. We have pointed webmail.domain.com to www.domain.com in CNAME record
7. We are using IMAP incoming mail server through suggested port to connect to AfterLogic WebMail Lite.

WebMail Logging Console in debug mode generates the example of following error:

[12:41:29.43] [POST(1)] /webmail/processing.php
[12:41:29.43] POST > [xml]
[12:41:29.43]
[12:41:29.43] connection error[mail.domain.com:143]: fsockopen = false
[12:41:29.43] Exception[1507]: Unknown error
~ /libraries/afterlogic/common/managers/webmail/manager.php (150)

#0 /web/docroot/475647/domain.com/htdocs/webmail/libraries/afterlogic/common/managers/webmail/manager.php(60): CApiWebmailManager->loginToAccountFull('emailaddress@domain...', 'passwo...', '')
#1 /web/docroot/475647/domain.com/htdocs/webmail/application/server.php(629): CApiWebmailManager->LoginToAccount('emailaddress@domain...', 'passwo...', '')
#2 [internal function]: CAppServer->DoLogin()
#3 /web/docroot/475647/domain.com/htdocs/webmail/application/server.php(3892): call_user_func(Array)
#4 /web/docroot/475647/domain.com/htdocs/webmail/processing.php(50): CAppServer->UseMethod('login', '')
#5 {main}

Any help shall be thankfully appreciated.

For WebMail Lite, it doesn't really matter which URL it is installed on. Once you create an account (i.e. log into mailbox with WebMail Lite), its login details are kept in the database, and changing access URL will not change mail server details recorded. You would need to adjust those manually in the database, check awm_accounts table, mail_inc_host and mail_inc_port keep hostname and port for incoming mail. Similarily, that would be mail_out_host and mail_out_port for outgoing mail. And though you could change default server settings, those would apply to new accounts only.

That was a pinpoint solution to the problem.

By the way, is there any donation link available through which we can donate directly but not via paypal by credit card in the future?

AfterLogic WebMail Lite is enough for us at this moment and we shall be using it as our main webmail client.

Thanks & regards,

There's a donation link at the product page, and I believe it's not required to have PayPal account there, see "Don't have a PayPal account?" section of that page.

The link goes to PayPal. But at that page (paypal.com), you'll find "Don't have a PayPal account?" link. I.e. PayPal itself allows you to pay with credit card.

I just checked this, and that link on the paypal site is active.

That's because it's a different page. The page you posted is the one user gets to after pressing "Continue" at the page I posted. Anyway, you should be able to proceed with credit card payment on that one.

ok, now i'm posting two snapshots of your payment page.

1st snapshot shows the paypal payment page without the button being pressed.
2nd snapshot shows that paypal hasn't listed bangladesh in country list.

however, if you can provide us a payment link through which we can make payment by credit card directly we shall make a donation within our limitation.

in case you are unable to provide us direct payment link, we shall make a donation by credit card via paypal whenever it launches it's service in bangladesh.

regards,

Well, it's not our payment page. We simply redirect to PayPal and whatever happens there is beyond our control. That's the only method available for now.
