We don't seem to be able to forward attachments. If I receive an email with an attachment, normally clicking Forward (with any other mail client) will forward the email body AND the attachment, but with WebMail Lite, the attachment does not get forwarded. Is this normal? Is there a setting somewhere that I'm not aware of, to change this behavior?
Thanks.

This is certainly not a normal behavior. I understand sending new mails with attachments works as expected, right?
Is this about ASP.NET or PHP version? What's the version number?

Hi Igor,
Sending with an attachment works. Only when forwarding a message that had an attachment doesn't work.
It is the ASP.NET version, I'm pretty sure we're using the latest version. I can't check the way the instructions explain in the link you provided, because I'm bypassing the login screen for our users. Is there another way to check? The version number must be in a file somewhere.
I also use WebMail at home on my server, however 2 differences are that at home I have an imap server (at work we're using POP3) and at home I have not disabled the flash upload thing. When I tried on my home server, it seemed to be working (the flash thing showed the progress of the file being "loaded") but then gave the common error that there was a problem (which is what prompted me to disable this feature on the server at work). I'm not concerned with the server at home, I just included that as an FYI.

In few latest releases, that's VERSION file placed in root folder of WebMail Lite. The one available for download is 5.1.3 now.
BTW, is my understanding correct that you are using integration API? I'm asking this since ASP.NET version isn't under active development any longer. Is it an option for you to switch to PHP version?

I found the file. We are using 5.1.3.
Yes we are using the integration API. Our sales reps log into our website already using RSA, so we didn't want them to have to log in again to get their mail.
Are any versions of WebMail using ASP.Net under active development, or is it just the lite version that isn't? Using PHP might be an option however the rest of the site uses ASP and PHP isn't installed on the server. Purchasing Webmail was not out of the question when we found the lite version, we just have many other things on the go right now.
I disabled the flash upload applet from my home site, and I was able to forward an attachment in an email, so this problem obviously has to do with this installation. I might be able to find the problem myself.
Are there any other log files, besides the one that logs the POP3 communications? I have looked at that file and I only recall it containing POP3 communication data.

This applies to both Lite and Pro versions. Actually, Lite wasn't updated for much longer, there's version 6.2 available for Pro edition.

Yes, there are two types of logging available in ASP.NET version, please see this documentation page for details.
