Hi there.

We are using the AfterLogic WebMail Lite and now we have decided to move some users to email client using Outlook.

Is there a way to export the user's contacts from the Afterlogic addressbook to a text file or csv file so that we can import it into the Outlook ?

Appreciate your help..

Currently, WebMail supports importing contacts only. Next year, we're going to add CalDAV/CardDAV support so handling contacts and calendars is revised significantly, and most probably, two-way data transfer will be provided.

Hi Igor,

Thanks for responding.

Do you have a script that we can use to extract / export the contacts from the database directly ?

Do you have some documentation for structure of the contact database so that we can try to create a script to extract/export the contacts from the contacts database ?

Thanks in advance.

The structure is quite straightforward, taking a look into awm_addr_book database table should give a clear insight. In some aspects, this documentation page might be helpful as well.

There's a couple of other tables used by Contacts section of WebMail: awm_addr_group maintains list of contact groups while awm_addr_groups_contacts holds the information for each grouped contact about the group that contact belongs to.
