Hello,
I have been attempting to setup an entirely new mail system for my company. I'm switching from and unknown mail server using Communigate as webmail app to hMailServer and AfterLogic Lite.
I created all new email accounts in hMailServer, tested, all working. Then I used External Accounts to have hmailserver retrieve emails from old server (I have no admin access, old mail server has no imap so could not use imapcopy). This worked, and all email was migrated.
However, since old mail was migrated and mx record was switched, upon login the Afterlogic web client displays that it's retrieving all emails. This of course takes forever and cannot continue.
I've gone through each account and disabled the external account (I have not "removed" the account, just disabled it). I have restarted the mail server.
I need to know where the problem lies. Is it with hMailServer or Afterlogic. What could cause this? HELP!!!

The first thing to do is to check debug logs, procedures are a bit different for PHP and ASP.NET versions.
