I am getting that message whenever I try to log in using your software. I got one ID logged in, but none after that. I have verified the passwords on all the ids that I've tried.

What am I doing wrong?

Is this about ASP.NET or PHP edition of WebMail Lite? What's the version number you are running? Did you try to enable logging in AdminPanel, and if yes, did it provide any helpful messages?

It is the PHP edition, version 6.2.0. The AdminPanel shows no errors, but the user log says "Log file can't be read"

Did you install the product using the installation wizard? If the problem is about access permissions over the data folder, wizard would detect that.

I used the wizard. Besides, why would it allow one random user to sign in and then prevent all others from doing the same thing? And it doesn't seem to matter if it is from the same computer or from another.

Does it restrict by ip address?

No, I believe there are no restrictions of that kind.

It might be a good idea to try 30-days trial copy of WebMail Pro and see if it shows the same behavior.

The problem does not happen in WebMail Pro. As near as I can tell, the file permissions are the same for both configurations. Both connect to the database using the same database user.

I've tried re-installing the Lite version, but the result was the same.

I've wiped the database and re-installed again. This time it worked!
I have no idea what was wrong, but the problem is gone.

Thanks for the help.
