Good afternoon,
I am currently using Hmail server with Afterlogic WebMail Lite, and have a second DB server behind our network connected to hmail.
Although HMail sees it properly, I am having a hard time connecting to the db with AfterLogic WebMail Lite.
Although I have created all, User/System/File DSN's, I am unable to connect via the admin interface. I am currently running MS SQL 2008 (Full Blown version)
Could someone please direct me in the right direction? The current documentation says:
ODBC Data source (DSN)
Specify Data Source Name if you wish to connect to database through DSN. This is alternative way to connect to database, the above fields (SQL Login, SQL password, Database name, Host, MS Access file) will not be used.
ODBC Connection String
Specify your own ODBC connection string if you wish to connect to database through a specific connection string. This is alternative way to connect to database, the above fields (SQL Login, SQL password, Database name, Host, MS Access file) will not be used.
Neither option allows me to make the correct call, and I'm not sure what to put on the text box for each connection option.
Thank you,
-DiTOH1

Nice set of examples of connection strings is available here. And if you'd like to troubleshoot the connectivity issues I'd suggest to enable special debug logging as per this documentation page.
