I have tried to create a UK dictionary file following the information from this post: http://www.afterlogic.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2184
But I just can't get it to work. Has anyone managed to create a UK dictionary?

Do you mind explaining what exactly is the problem? Is this about creating a dictionary or using it in WebMail?

Sorry for the delayed reply:
It is the creation of the dictionary, I understand where to install it and which file to edit to make it the default.
When I try and create the .dic file it is incredibly small and causes an ASP (or .net) error when spell checking is actioned.

Maybe you were doing it in some other way. The idea is to create new dictionary with NetSpell.DictionaryBuild.exe, and then use "Add OpenOffice Word list" and "Add OpenOffice Affix Data" tool there under "Dictionary" menu.
I have created UK dictionary, didn't test it though. Hope it'll work for you.

Hi Igor,
I copied the en-UK.dic file into the App_Data\dictionary folder,
I then edited spellcheck.aspx.cs and replaced en-US.dic with en-UK.dic for the default dictionary. The spell check still used en-US.doc (I tested using the words "colour" and "color").
If I rename en-US.dic so it cannot be found I get .net framework error "Could not find file 'G:\Inetpub\webmail\App_Data\dictionary\en-US.dic'".
Which is a little confusing as it should be using the en-UK.dic file. This tells me that the default dictionary entry in spellcheck.aspx.cs is being ignored.
I also tried creating a language entry inspellcheck.aspx.cs for "English" but again it used the US dictionary.

I believe dictionary-related guidelines lack an important point: upon making changes to WebMail source code, especially when it comes to .cs files not located under App_Code, you need to recompile the product, changes won't be applied otherwise.
Recompilation can be done by either running compile.bat file found in root folder of WebMail, or using Visual Studio.
