Hello,

I would like to use IMAP authentication. For that I use the proxy imap: perdition.

The problem I'm having is that it's my LDAP attribute "mail" that is used and not the "uid" LDAP attribute.

How can I use the "uid" attribute in my configuration to login?

Sorry, not sure I follow this. WebMail Pro uses IMAP authentication by default, so there should be no need to set up LDAP - unless you meant that you'd like to use LDAP authentication; can you please clarify?

Yes I use imap but my proxy IMAP it goes on the ldap. To authenticate me I use the uid as login and password. I have the impression that he is waiting for the mail as login ...

Have I been clearer?

For IMAP authentication, WebMail sends either email address or its username part. If you need to log in using just the username rather than full email address, select the particular server you've added under Mail Servers screen of admin area, and uncheck "Use full email address as login" box for it.

IMAP connection is good but is close automatically after connect...

Well that doesn't look like webmail issue, you may need to check that with your mailserver support resources.

Is there an error on WebMail side too? Or it just connects to IMAP server, runs the command and disconnects upon receiving a response? Because that one would be normal.
