We have upgraded to IPv6 within our company and are now updating all of the references to our servers. Our version of Afterlogic Webmail Lite seams to not accept the IPv6 address for the MySQL Server. In addition we are having issues with people not being able to login via webmail because afterlogic cannot understand IPv6, the new standard IP address.

We never tested it with IPv6 (and never had IPv6 infrastructure). If you find out how to fix the issue within your infrastructure, please share your findings with the community, maybe it will be useful to other people around (and, if possible, we'll include this patch in the next WebMail Lite release). Thanks!

Regards,
Alex

That is unfortunate. Our development team is a little overloaded at this time and I was hoping that AfterLogic at least would have kept up with 17year old technology(IPv6). We will see what we can do but fixing this might be put on the back burner.

Prior to this moment, nobody ever asked for IPv6 support in this product. Now, we'll consider adding IPv6 support to roadmap. If you want to get this done on high-priority basis, this can be done in terms of sponsored development. Please let us know if interested. Thanks!

Alex
