Hello.

I just purchased WebMail Pro for PHP (version 7.1).. In the login page, I want my users to be able to enter only their usernames, not full email address to login.

In my other website, I have an older WebMail Pro for PHP which had the option to turn on or off this feature, but in this version, I can't find it.

I have only one domain. How can I allow my users to only enter their username and password to log in instead of writing their full e-mail address?

Thanks

That is not supported in current release of WebMail Pro PHP, but will become available in the next one coming out within next few days. We'll also provide a special documentation page which describes various login configuration approaches supported.

Thanks Igor. I have an advice because I love AfterLogic WebMail Pro..

Please don't do what Microsoft has done. Microsoft has the habit of removing useful features in new versions regardless of which product it is. Removing useful + working features in new versions is really something I don't understand.

I'll be waiting for the coming update.

Thanks

I see your point there, but technically, it's not really about removing features. Version 7 was a full rewrite from the scratch, so each and every feature was basically a new one. Of course, we will eventually add all the useful things which were there in v6 - but when making 7.0 release we chose to add only a limited number of features, but make sure that all of them work in absolutely flawless way. Now that we're past that stage, we're working hard to reimplement everything our users really need :)

I see that version 7.1.1 has been released but I don't see any change logs regarding this version.. Did you include the feature I requested?

This new version is mainly about fixing bugs, but yes, the feature you're interested in was added, please see this documentation page, it lists the new configuration options.
