Hi,

I would like to implement anti-spam algorithm for Imap accounts.
At reception, only the headers (envelope) are downloaded.
The client download the full message on demands.

The antispam (BayesFilter) can detects if a mailmessage is a spam only with the header ?

Thanks.

That's a no, I'm afraid. To find out whether mail is spam, message body will be required, and you'll need it for training the filter as well. IMAP protocol, however, allows retrieving MIME parts without having to download entire messages, that's done by requesting body structure information.
