Hello all,
I have Mercury32 as my email server, and was wondering if anyone has setup Afterlogic WebMail with Mercury32?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. :)

My home system is running Webmail (PHP/IIS6/x64) on Mercury/32 (IMAP/SMTP) without any problems. The Mercury/32 IMAP module doesn't support a folder=>subfolder structure, you can only create those within the Webmail environment. The new version of Mercury/32 will support subfolders.
What suggestions do you have in mind? Most of the configuration needs to be done in Mercury/32, not in the Webmail envionment.

WebMail Pro does not have some particular requirements for mail server, you should be able to access pretty much any
POP3/IMAP server with it. Some mail servers might have specific behavior, and WebMail Pro would try to handle it.
For instance, if your mail server doesn't allow creating new folders - that shouldn't be a problem, WebMail Pro would
used existing ones based on their names. And if you don't have, say, Trash folder - WebMail Pro would simply remove
message from server instead of moving it to Trash. And if you require those folders created on webmail level, you are
probably looking for POP3 rather than IMAP.

I have only setup one Mailserver and have never setup a webmail server. So iam looking for some direction of where to start. I also have a website, both are on separate servers. Any advice on setting up Webmail on Mercury32?

The first thing you need is to determine whether you'd like to use ASP.NET or PHP version of the product. Since this is
about Windows, you can choose any of those, and recent case studies show that version PHP would have better performance.
You'll need a web server, that would be IIS for ASP.NET version and pretty much any web server for PHP: IIS, Apache or
any other which offers PHP support.
You'll also need a database server. PHP version works with MySQL, and ASP.NET can also use MS SQL.
So this is about a complete web server environment, and there are multiple ready-to-use webserver bundles available, like
WampServer. This bundle would allow you to run PHP edition of WebMail
Pro just fine, either locally or throughout the LAN. But if you'd like to have it accessible over the Internet, you'll
need web hosting account with WebMail Pro uploaded to it.
Once the product package is unzipped and uploaded to web directory you created for WebMail, navigate to /install
subdirectory and proceed with configuring.
I'd like to add that it doesn't really matter what mail server is used: this can be either your local mail server or
external mail hosting solution like GMail, WebMail Pro can work with any POP3/IMAP service.
