Hi,
I'm new here. I'm using hmailserver for long time and now, I will try to use webmail over them.

I choice webmail from afterlogic since this is one of few (if not, the only one) that use standard tools under windows like IIS, ASPnet, MSaccess. No need to install other dbms, perl, php or other tools.
My rule is always "less you install additionnal software on a computer, more the computer will be stable".

so, I try to use msaccess on the server.

first remark, it is not clear in the documentation how to start with a new installation with access. do I have to copy the provided mdb files ?
look's like the only way to use access, it to use this supplied mdb file.
starting from an empty mdb files does not work
in this case, why can I check a checkbox "create the tables" since all tables are already in the mdb.

the provided .mdb is build on an previous version of Office (2000). So, needed to convert it.

next, when I try to created a domain, I get the error in the log file :
[Message]
The INSERT INTO statement contains the following unknown field name: 'save_mail'. Make sure you have typed the name correctly, and try the operation again.

so, My question : does somebody is really tested and started using Ms access as the webmail database since this mdb schema is not up to date in regard of the asp script ?

thanks for you help.
Nicolas
