Hello,
I have a web cluster where I use Afterlogic webmail (and many more websites).
SETUP:
1 storage server
5 webnodes
1 mailserver
All 5 webservers get their web-content from the same storage server.
And they all connect to the same mailserver.
But still on 2 of the 5 webnodes the webmail login screen is very slow.
The webnodes have similar hard- and software.
What actions are performed on the initial page that can slow down the login page?
Is there already a connection to the mailserver or database or something?
After logging in it's also slow, but not on the other 3 webnodes.

That's quite an outdated release, try upgrading to the latest version (5.1 at the moment) and check if that helps.

I don't use the PRO version.
Is it still possible to upgrade to 5.1, since I only see WEBMAIL PRO in the DOWNLOADS menu.

Looks like you never said that. Anyway, those instructions would work for WebMail Lite as well. You can download the latest version here.

Will all the settings be preserved when I update the version?
I can't find a document which describes the update of a NON-PRO version.
Or can I just use the PRO document and skip the licence key part?

The product architecture and data storage model is almost the same (considering that there's no calendar and few other things in WebMail Lite), so those instructions should apply to the Lite version as well. If you decide to upgrade your installation from Lite to Pro at some point in future, the instructions would work too.
