I have added 2 domains in the panel and set login with email in the login option. I found that what ever the domain is, the system will try to use the default server setting to login so one domain can be login and the other not. The situation changes until setting changed in advanced login, then the logged-in users with second domain can relogin to the system in standard mode.
So my question is:
what is the proper setting so that users from different domains can be reconized by the system?

The first thing we need to know is if it's about PHP or .NET edition of the product, the information about version number might be helpful too.
Please also make sure that you have specified correct POP3/IMAP server address for both the domains.
I understand you have selected "Hide email field", but did you also choose "Display domain after login field as:"? If you choose this option, or "Hide login field" with email used as login, does this work?

Igor,
thanks for your help, our version is php and it is the latest version downloaded a few days before.
I have tried to set the multiple domain options in the login setting but failed to choose that option, see below:
http://www.onebb.com/webmail/multiple_domains_problem.doc
I also tried to hide login and use email for login but the problem still exists.
Please advice.
King

Thanks for the report. I have notified WebMail developers on this. If the issue is confirmed, it will probably be fixed in future releases.

I do have the same problem as this described by kingwong.
I have installed the WebMail Lite ver. 5.1.8. I cannot select the option: Multiple domains selection (available in Domains section). in the Login Page Settings in the WebMail section, although I have created two domains in the Domains section. I do not fully understand the comment in the brackets (available in Domains section), I am afraid - does it mean that the domain selection possible only for the admin?
