Hello,

I wanted to get access to my e-mail account at my university with AfterLogic WebMail. Fetching mails over IMAP works great. However, I cannot send any mails.

Looks like mail server is not configured to allow standard SMTP authentication. The only way to work around it in WebMail Pro is to uncheck SMTP authentication option.

When I uncheck the "SMTP authentication" in the live demo I get:

The server rejected the specified sender email address. The server responded: 451 5.7.3 Must issue a STARTTLS command first.

As mentioned previously, WebMail Pro PHP supports AUTH LOGIN authentication mode only. In case if this is not supported and Windows-native authentication modes are to be utilized, we suggest using ASP.NET version of the product.
