Our records indicate that you have downloaded WebMail Lite .NET. If that is correct, please check the FAQ page for translation instructions as Chinese and Japanese translations are not available yet.

There is no file called English.lang, it's called English.php in WebMail Lite PHP. Translation instructions for WebMail Lite PHP are available here.

Anyway, you should make sure that there are no spaces or extra symbols before <? opening tag in that file. Some editors may add 3 BOM characters (Byte Order Mark) at the beginning of the file, and you should remove them - for example, using this tool. Just unpack the tool from archive and drag'n'drop the file onto the utility's icon.

Regards,
Igor
