In a message I have an inline file with the ContentType 'message/delivery-status'. Your component version 5.5.0.128 gives 'IsMessage = false'.

I think this kind of inline files are also messages. So 'IsMessage' must also return 'true'.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards,
Marco

IsMessage is true only for 'message/rfc822' messages which are full-fledged emails. 'message/delivery-status' is a special case and cannot be considered full-fledged email. If you need to track all 'message/*' MIME parts, you can use ContentType property instead and check if its value starts with 'message/'.

Regards,
Alex

Ok. This means I can not use 'IsMessage' anymore because it's meaning something else (a better name would be IsMessageRFC822).

Means i have to check all attachment everytime in ASP with the LEFT() function. It's working now, but if this could happen in the DLL would mostlikely be faster. Maybe for in the next update?

Another question: Where can I find detailed information about the changes between version numbers? We are now using 5.5.0.128 but I have no clue what the new version is and what the changes are. An emailservice would be great with changelog.

That's the latest version. You can always find the latest version of the .dll here.

You can find the change log here. The same page is available in the documentation shipped with the product.

Best regards,
Andrew

I downloaded the latest version and I see it's version 5.5.0.133, means i'm not having the latest version. And if i'm looking at the changelog page, I see there is a 5.5.3 version? But the downloaded is version 5.5.0.133 ??? Sorry but I do not understand the version numbers on the changelog page. (i'm reading the version on the properties of the dll in tab 'version'))

5.5.0.133 is just a .dll build version used for internal reference. The latest version of MailBee Objects is 5.5.3.

Best regards,
Andrew
