I just installed the Webmail .NET Lite and while I can check my mail (nice UI) and login to the admin site using the default settings I am unable to change anything in the admin site. As soon as I click save I am taken back to the login page and none of my settings are saved. I verified the permissions on the data folder for both the network service and the aspnet service. The server is Windows 2003. Thanks!

Small update.. I think it is somehow permission related. I manually edited the config file and turned on debug logging. The file was not created. I manually created the file and then there was data in the file. What account am I missing?

Perhaps, ASP.NET engine is configured to run under another system account in your IIS. Try to grant "Full Control" permission to "Everyone" user over the data folder and all its contents. It's quite secure to do that as the permissions are applied within the same server and the files cannot be accessed remotely in case if the data folder is not accessible from web.

Best regards,
Andrew
