Hello,

We save attachments (on this case PDF) coming from POP3 email, it works fine except from a mail provider, the file saved is corrupted with version of Mailbee 5.5.0127 and above (include version 5.5.0131) but it works fine with version 5.3.047 !
Any idea ?

I just sent you the eml file saved by Mailbee but i don't think you will find something as the eml work fine (if i open it with outlook i can save and open the attachment).
So i can give you access to our test mailbox where the message is located.

Thank you. However, we tried it with the latest version of MailBee.dll and found no issues with attachments. The issue may be related to the antivirus blocking file I/O operations. Anyway, there is no issue on MailBee side of things.

Regards,
Alex

I have just tested under Vista and XP, same problem. I let you test again, make sure the file you saved is not corrupted. BTW i reactivated the mail account for your test.

Thank you for letting us know about the corrupted file. We found the problem. The message file has duplicated Content-Transfer-Encoding value which is a violation of email standards. Earlier versions of MailBee detected only the first occurrence of a header in the header section while 5.5 version detects them all and concatenates (and thus Content-Transfer-Encoding becomes wrong and the data was not decoded from base64). We now added an exception for processing duplicated Content-Transfer-Encoding entries.

Regards,
Alex

Since version upper version of 5.3, we have a lot of customers who have problem to see attachments like before (something like email header with not common data... which are available with outlook, thunderbird, ...).
What did you changed since version 5.3 ?

There were a lot of minor bugfixes and improvements. Could you please describe the issue in more detail? Perhaps, provide us with some examples of headers and other data.

Best regards,
Andrew
