I am getting the following error when sending to more than 5 people on either the to address field or the cc field:
[Error: Negative or void server response]
Server Responded: 452 Too many recipients
How can i change the allowed number of recipients? Where is that setting???

This is your mail server response and the limitation can be changed in the server's configuration only. MailBee doesn't apply any limitations of such kind and as well as any other mailer is not able to affect mail server configuration.
Best regards,
Andrew

I know this is an old message but would there be a way to limit the number of recipients or BCC's in the send function? Lately we have had phishing that is capturing user ID and passwords (dumb users) and they (the spamers) have written some sort of script using MailBee webmail to spam out. Any ideas you guys have would be great. I can tell you the last one that did this sent out over 4500 emails through webmail lite so it is robust.

We're not planning to add limitation of such kind, particularly since it would be really hard to explain users why it was introduced.
We understand your security concern, but since WebMail Lite stores account passwords in an encrypted way, and database can be accessed by authorized users only, WebMail is not the weakest chain, so, to our opinion, steps should be taken to locate and eliminate the initial security breach.

If we could get rid of all dumb users and phishing Igor that would be possible, but I don't think it will happen.
Thanks

Jeff,
your best defense for your mail server is to install a relay like Postfix and only set SMTP auth relaying and set limits to the number of email each user can relay via it.
It's a mandatory step you need to take, I think. Also, 4500 messages is not much. It could be a lot worse :-)
