I just install the webmail and followed all the instructions and i loged in using the mailadm and 12345 as instructed and nothing would happen, no error no nothing it would just come back to the same login screen.

After looking on this forum i found somone had the same problem and was told to check the password in the config.php in the webmail/data/settings folder but when i looked in the folder, all i found was settings.xml.

There is no config.php, i downloaded from this site a few times and each one has nothing in that folder, am i missing a step, please help

There shouldn't be config.php in that folder because this file was used by old versions of WebMail Lite PHP, new versions use settings.xml.

Most likely, the problem is caused by incorrect path specified in settings_path.php or insufficient permissions on settings.xml. Please make sure settings_path.php contains correct path and assign permissions as it described in documentation.

Best regards,
Andrew

To let us investigate the issue, could you please provide us with URL pointing to your installation of WebMail PHP, password to mailadm if you have changed the default one, and FTP access with write permission to this installation? Thus, we will be able to reproduce the issue directly and find a solution. You can send this information to support@afterlogic.com.

Best regards,
Andrew
