Have you tried to connect to the same Yahoo POP3 account using Outlook Express (or other POP3 client) installed on the same server where MailBee WebMail PHP is installed? Once you get this working via other POP3 client (specify correct credentials, disable/reconfigure antivirus/firewall/etc), you should then try the same with MailBee WebMail PHP.

Regards,
Alex

Just like Outlook Express (and other POP3 mail clients) MailBee WebMail PHP is a POP3 mail client. It can get mail from POP3 servers. Obviously, you must know the POP3 server name in order to connect to it. Have you specified your POP3 server name in 'WebMail Settings' of 'Administration Console' (mailadm.php)?

Please understand, we can help you only with the issues specific to MailBee WebMail PHP itself (i.e. when you can successfully use another popular email client like Outlook Express but not MailBee WebMail PHP on the same server). That's why it's required to make sure first that the problem is connected with MailBee WebMail PHP.

For instance, neither Hotmail nor Yahoo do provide free POP3 access. You cannot get mail from them using any POP3 client, not only MailBee WebMail PHP. Thus, this issue is not connected to MailBee WebMail PHP at all.

Issues not related to MailBee WebMail PHP are beyond the scope of our free technical support (you may, however, request us a consultancy service here).

Regards,
Alex

How can i know my POP3 server name? Is it may be 'localhost'?? As a POP3 email client, if WebMail PHP will not access yahoo & hotmail accounts then which account i should try to access through WebMail PHP ??

Thanx

It may be 'localhost' in the case if you have POP3 service on workstation where WebMail PHP is running. In such case, you should already have existing or obtain/create new mail account on this POP3 service and use it with WebMail PHP.

You may use demo@afterlogic.com account for testing:
host: mail.afterlogic.com
user: demo
pass: demo

In the future, you should use any mail service with POP3 access allowed. Here you can see several such services. This URL was found via google.

Best regards,
Andrew

I am getting the same error message with a user I am setting up with MailBee WebMail. I have set his account up in my Outlook and I have no problem receiving his email. I am also getting other error messages. I have posted my them on the forum.
