Hi,

When I try to connect from web interface get this error :

Can't connect to POP3 server, check POP3 server settings.

In the file log appear this:

WMSERVER Error: /var/www/html/webmail-lite/wmserver/class_wmserver.php
Can't find file: /var/MailRoot/wm.tab
[04/08/2009 22:20:59] WMSERVER Error: /var/www/html/webmail-lite/wmserver/class_wmserver.php (~143)
Connect() - Error: Can't connect to WebMail Server.
No such file or directory (2)

If I create a empty file wm.tab... in the log file will appear:

WMSERVER Error: /var/www/html/webmail-lite/wmserver/class_wmserver.php
Empty file: /var/MailRoot/wm.tab
[04/08/2009 22:42:07] WMSERVER Error: /var/www/html/webmail-lite/wmserver/class_wmserver.php (~143)
Connect() - Error: Can't connect to WebMail Server.
No such file or directory (2)

What kind of file is that wm.tab? What should write on it?

From AminPanel I can't save server integration page also...
Error: Can't find wm.tab ...or

Failed to connect.
Can't connect to WebMail Server (127.0.0.1:).No such file or directory (2)

if the file exist and is empty...

Note that from an external e-mail client works all fine.

Please help!!!
Thank you

What is the version of XMail Server you are using? We've just released new version of XMail Server, you can download the Lite version here.

I have the latest srpm from sourceforge.

After complete install and settings... all functions are great, but after machine reboot the file "wm.tab" dissapear from /var/MailRoot.

The source from your site can't be converted to srpm and rpm. Some verion conflict appear ... it request the version 3.2.0, don't know why...

I use CentOS 4.7.

Did you try running binary .run package available at the link we provided? Alternatively, you can download Source package from SourceForge and compile it in your environment.

Yes I have tryed to install .run binary, but it removed my rc.d directory... and created symlinks that disturbed another programs...

I observed that when xmail is stoped or restarted the file wm.tab is deleted even if nobody don't have writting rights for this file.

In what circumstances wm.tab is deleted?

When XMail Server is started, wm.tab file is created under /var/MailRoot directory, it contains the information required by WebMail. Once XMail Server is stopped, wm.tab file is removed.

We've got several reports of 'rc.d' removal (actually, it's not removed but renamed). We've implemented a fix for this and uploaded new builds of .run packages on our website, you can try it now.

Ok, the new binary .run file failed to resolve some dependencies...

libssl.so.098, libcrypto, etc...

Can I use the source tarball to make a rpm?

When I try that, have some erros like afterlogic-xmail-lite-3.2.0 not exist.

It's a new day...

I use rpmbuild to make rpm package from tar.bz2 v3.3 package.

The version in xmail spec is not corect... after modification:

rpmbuild -ta afterlogic-xmail-lite-3.3.tar.gz
error: File /root/inst/april/afterlogic/bogofilter-1.0.3.tar.gz: No such file or directory

If I put bogofilter in requested directory only bogofilter.rpm is builded...

The new version 3.3.3 of tar.bz2 can't be rpmbuilded...

This is to let you know that current version of XMail Server Lite is shipped as .RPM package additionally to .RUN installer. Source and Source-RPM packages are available as well. You can find all of those at the XMail Server Lite download page.
