Hi Igor. I have a big big problem.
I'm testing the new version (6.0).
I follow the istruction for update.
Now i can't login becase the login screen have only
"mail" and "password" fields. I need of "username" fields.
I tryed to change login method but i saw that in adminpanel
there isn't the function to change this.

Where i wrong.
Now i can't read my email because the old version is imcompatible
with new DBs (converted). It's correct???

Help me please

Another problem.
I haved more of 5 users (all disabled) because i created them only for testing webmail, 2 moth ago). Now i cancelled all old account and i have only 5 user, but login show me that my account is disabled because the max number of users is exceeded (sorry for my english). How can i re-enable license???

Now i can't read and write my email ""£$"@[]#@[@#@{½¬¼{½¬{@[@··#[!!|"!

Login page settings are now configured in settings.xml file, check
LoginFormType and UseLoginAsEmailAddress fields.

Not sure if I understand the problem since you do have database backup anyway.

I would suggest installing WebMail Pro 6.0 from scratch rather than upgrading existing installation.

I have make a new installation.
In adminpanel i connected my previous DB.
Now i changed UseLoginAsEmailAddress=Off
but i have always only: "Email" and "Password" in login window
and i cannot connect.

I dont understand because you decided to remove the configuration page of settings.xml
Now is very very difficult to find manualy correct parameters into the file XML

I have a somewhat similar issue. After updating database and logging in to admin panel, I cannot create users. I've turned on "allowregistration" and "allow password reset", but I see no place where I can edit the users details, nor can I add new users.

According to the developers, scenario with different username and email login is not currently supported.
I have initiated a discussion, maybe it will be brought back in near future.

In WebMail Pro 6.0, users are created on login only. You don't have to create them explicitly in
AdminPanel.

Igor: As you know, in the adminpanel in v5 we can create a new identity for a user with a different email address than the one the user is logging in with. That email address from the new identity is the one that displays in Webmail after logging in. Can this feature be brought back in v6?

I am a lot apologetic.
In this way WEBMAIL is not more a usable product, for me.
I thought to buy 30 licences for my company, after 2 mounth tests.
I cannot hazard problems like this. I cannot read and write my email from
2 days. You have contorted this product.
I worked to prepare my server with webmail,
but now i close the tests and return to my old "stable" system (usermin).

I'm not certain what feature you are speaking of. In WebMail Pro 5.*, it was possible for user to have
additional accounts linked to the primary one, that was done in user account settings, not in AdminPanel. This
feature is still there in 6.0, the only difference is that those linked accounts are not shown in AdminPanel.

I'm thinking...
there's only one possibility, a function PHP to re-convert DB from version 6.0 to
5.0. - (For a problem to my server i don't found backup DB of 5.0 version!!!)

It's possible?
