Dear support,
I just started evaluating your lite-version of the php-webmail and I already love it... As a previous roundcube user I admire the speed of it!
But I have one issue where I do not find a solution on my own:
My hoster where my webspace and domains are on does not offer the possibility to login with email/password - not even to their provided solution. I have to use a special username.
When logging in to the Webmail I am authenticated as loginname@domain.tld and this is set as my default address for sending as well. I can go to account settings and change it there to my mailuser@domain.tld but I have to do this every time, this change is not remembered.
Can this somehow be preconfigured? Write permissions on the data directory (755 is set, 777 makes no difference) are given.
I read on different posts about a "special offer" for personal use - I would only require 5 users, not 25, where can I direct such a request to if "buying pro" would be the only way to solve this.
Thanks in advance!
Michael

I forgot one thing to mention: once I activate the advanced login form and provide my emailaddress together with my login information I receive a "WebMail error occured" message.

Hi everyone,
I got it running like charm the way I like it.
In settings.xml I have the following settings:
<UseAdvancedLogin>Off</UseAdvancedLogin>
<LoginFormType>LoginAtDomainDropDown</LoginFormType>
<UseLoginAsEmailAddress>Off</UseLoginAsEmailAddress>
<DefaultDomainValue />
<LoginAtDomainValue>mydomain.tld</LoginAtDomainValue>
I have only one domain (free edition ) and DropDown does not show a menu but when using LoginAtDomain only I see a slighter worse security by the domain already written there .. which is ... hmm .. obvious
Hope this helps someone .. and yes, I have prefilled the connection server settings on <incomingmail*>
Regards,
Michael
