 | We have Kerio running "Distribution lists" , would you give me a basic scenario how to get connected / send email to Kerio Distribution list.

Is it possible to edit Kerio Distribution list and read/write to vCard .eml over IMAP ?

 Thank you.
 Alex

If that distribution list is an email address, you can send mail to that address, and it will reach all the intended recipients.

As for how to edit this list, I guess you should address this question to Kerio. If they explain you how to do this via IMAP, we can then tell you how to do this IMAP thing with MailBee components.

 Alex

"Distribution list" ( not a "mailing list" , which has email address for sure ) is a part of an address book.

 | Folders are stored in order : [user]/contacts/distribution lists/#msgs/
all the files, stored there, are vCard.eml version 3.
I know, that MailBee has a component vCard, that can read(edit?) vCards .
And MailBee IMAP can access ( I hope he can ? ) "distribution lists" folder, what kind of a pitfalls I might find to send mail to taken "Distribution list" ?

 Thank you.
 Alex

When it comes to IMAP support, MailBee acts like pretty much any other IMAP client. What you need to find out is whether those distribution list folders are accessible over IMAP at all. And if yes, you'll need to check if it allows uploading. If both are "yes", MailBee.NET shouldn't have any problems downloading or uploading data. Even though UploadMessages method is designed to work with EMLs only, it wouldn't care if you upload any other type of data, as long as it's fine with the server.

By the way, you can use our Live Demo to log into your account and check the complete list of folders in it. If there are folders which contain contacts, you'll probably see them in the output.
