Hello
If anyone here knows the underlying .net component code structure, please advise the differences of 4.0 and 4.5 dll builds, want to start a project and asking if 4.5 has advantages inside itself -not.net framework itself- or differences in component usage, except async methods of 4.5. Any performance or reliability etc... differences?

I will request an insight on this from the developers and will get back to you. But frankly, this kind of questions is best to be taken to our support team directly via HelpDesk. Thank you.

Async methods is the only big difference in .NET 4.5. There are a few other differences (TLS 1.3 security won't work in .NET 4.0 while it MAY work in .NET 4.5) but the codebase itself is the same.

Alex

Thank you for confirmation, you mentioned of a few other differences, are them documented in help files or somewhere else?
