how can i remove the [2] from being inserted into the subject line.

gets a bit annoying when you have a subject line with
Re[2]: Re[2]: Re[2]: Re[2]: Re[2]: Re[2]: Re[2]: Re[2]:

You should modify the mail client which answers emails from webmail pro. It probably adds Re instead of making Re[x + 1]. Next time, WebMail Pro converts Re into Re[2] but when you reply, the receiving mail client once again adds Re: instead of making Re[3], etc.

If you use only WebMail Pro on both receiving and sending ends, you'll get accurate Re[6] and so on.

Thats well in good and all but its only a feature only works with webmail pro and not with all other mail clients.

how can i remove it?
