We have a very odd problem with Webmail Lite. When receiving some specific word .docx files, the attachment will not open as it is corrupted. The file when examined contains the un-decoded attachment part from the email (it has not been saved as a file starting with PK as we would normally expect for docx).
When the same email is accessed through www.mail2web.com or roundcube or a desktop application it opens fine.
We were originonally using v6.4.1 and I have tried upgrading to 6.6.0 without any difference. Unfortunately we can't as yet upgrade to v7.
I can see a previous post from someone using v5 who resolved this by changing somthing to do with BOM (byte order mark) but I can't work out how to do this with v6.
Any suggestions?

Upgrading to version 7.* is the only suggestion, I'm afraid. Version 6.* is no longer maintained or supported in any way.
