Hi Guys
Just wondering if a user can be a member of multiple domain names I saw he can have an Alias of the same domain but not a different one.
Is that possible?
Thanks
sarky

Currently, MailSuite Pro doesn't support this. However, in the near future we're going to introduce the Identities feature, so there's a good chance this will become available.

Long time ago.
I have mutiple domains and I have a mailserver that treats them all to the same user, as in adolfo@domain1.com, adolfo@domain2.com etc, I can login and see emails from all of the domains at the same mailbox.
Does the MailSuite Pro handles this feature? Do you have plans to do it soon?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Adolfo

Not sure I understand the scenario. Are you saying that you have some other mail server which can show you mails from multiple accounts within one specific mailbox you log in?
In terms of MailSuite Pro, that kind of behavior can be achieved by enabling POP3 fetcher, it allows for downloading mails from multiple accounts into a specific one. But the mails need to be actually downloaded, it doesn't support checking other accounts in a virtual way.
If you encounter problems with setting up fetcher, or any other configuration issues, please contact us via HelpDesk. Thank you.

I have a single mail server for 5 domains. I have to create a single user and it recieves email from every domain in this single account.

Let me see if I understand:
1 - I have to set up every domain on Mailsuite Pro;
2 - I have to create the same user for every domain;
3 - I have to choose one domain to be the main domain of the user and in that domain I have to set up a POP3 fetcher ponting to 127.0.0.1 for every domain of that user;
4 - Setting up the password everytime, and for every account.
Is that ok?

Adolfo

Yes, that sounds like a perfectly reasonable approach. And in future, we might extend Aliases for cross-domain functionality, currently alias can only be added within the same domain.
