Using Webmail lite and trying Webmail Pro and they both are having the same problem. I am trying to download an attachment of an email from a mobile browser (tried chrome and another one) and it just doesn't download. It will just go on and on and nothing is downloaded.
This works fine with regular desktop browsers.
Checked the windows IIS logs, and couldn't see anything unusual there.
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
Did you check this using Live Demo? I've just sent a mail with attachment using a demo account to the same account, and was able to download the attachment just fine.

Yes, I confirmed that the demo account works.
However, it doesn't work on our server:
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- SMTP/POP3 hMailServer 5.6.4-B2283
- webmail Lite and Pro (latest)
Everything else seems to work just fine. Even regular browsers are downloading attachments without any problems.
Just mobile browsers downloading attachments is having problems.
Any pointer is highly appreciated.
Thanks.

Would it be possible to provide us with a test account we could check that with? Please send us the account credentials via HelpDesk. Thank you.

I have just done a clean install of webmail lite on my linux server.
Everythign works fine but I ahve the same issue and attachments won't download with Google Chrome. There are no ad block extensions installed and I tried on several PC's with the same result.
I was going to buy the Pro version but not if this problem can't be fixed.

Do you encounter that issue on our Live Demo of WebMail Lite?
Also, you can install 30-days trial version of WebMail Pro and see if the problem occurs there as well. With WebMail Pro, a special mobile-friendly version of the interface is available so it may work better for you.

Yes can download attachments fine from your demo account so it's not a browser/desktop issue.
It must be a permissions or other problem on my linux server. Have tried both the trial and lite versions, but same result.
The error Chrome is reporting when I hover over the download link is this.
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)
If I try to preview the attachment I get an error 403 error
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /email/ on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Would it be possible to get a test account on your WebMail Pro installation so we could check that directly? If yes, please provide the access details via HelpDesk. Thanks.
