We have install debug version of MailBee.dll on our pc from
http://www.afterlogic.com/updates/mailbee_debug.zip, execute the code which hangs, but the file C:\mailbee_debug.txt log file? is not created

Most probably, this happens because the system account (your application powered by the debug version of MailBee.dll is running under) doesn't have permission to write to C:\
