Hi

How can I find out the IMAP server I'm connected to is Dovecot or Courier?
I searched alot about it but couldnt find out.
is any way that we can find out?

Unfortunately, you can't. Well, sometimes you may have the mail server name in its first reply:

Code:
* OK [CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 LITERAL+ SASL-IR LOGIN-REFERRALS ID ENABLE IDLE STARTTLS AUTH=PLAIN AUTH=LOGIN] Dovecot ready.


but this string is completely customizable and you cannot actually rely on it.
