When replying with the quick reply feature the signature adds extra spaces between the paragraphs.
How can we fix this?

I couldn't find anything strange there, is the issue reproduced at WebMail Pro 7 demo? And if yes, can you describe the issue in more detail? With examples and screenshots, if possible.

Also, if you can confirm whether the issue occurs for v8 demo, that would help.

Hi Igor,
See the screen shot I took for you. The below signature is fine as written with the normal reply. The top signature is from the quick reply and has added additional spacing:

Got it. We initially thought that the issue was that you got extra spaces in multi-line signature between lines, not between the main content and signature.
Actually, we don't see this as a real issue, the current behavior seems fine for us.

Alex

The issue IS extra spaces in multi-line signatures.
It is not the spacing between main content and signature that is an issue.
A quick reply email will result in a DIFFERENT looking signature and surely that is not expected behaviour?

Youriv, does your problem persist if you create the signature newlines with shift+return instead of just return?

The signature is as HTML, I have posted this below, maybe this helps:
Kind regards,<br><br>
Youri
<br><br><br>
<div style="width:350px;max-width:95%;border:none;margin:0;padding:0">
<table style="width:350px;max-width:95%;border:none;margin:0;padding:0">
<tr>
<td align="left">
<p><a href="https://www.xxx.co.uk"><img src="https://www.xxx.co.uk/img/email/xxx.png" width="350" style="max-width:95%"></a></p><br>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="center">
<p>xxx xxx xxx <a href="https://www.facebook.com/xxx" style="text-decoration:none !important; text-decoration:none;color:#000"><img src="https://www.xxx.co.uk/img/email/facebook.png" width="16" height="16" style="vertical-align:middle"></a> <a href="https://www.twitter.com/xxx" style="text-decoration:none !important; text-decoration:none;"><img src="https://www.xxx.co.uk/img/email/twitter.png" width="16" height="16" style="vertical-align:middle"></a> <a href="https://www.instagram.com/xxx" style="text-decoration:none !important; text-decoration:none;"><img src="https://www.xxx.co.uk/img/email/instagram.png" width="16" height="16" style="vertical-align:middle"></a></p>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="center">
<p><br><a href="https://www.xxx.co.uk/review_service.php">please tell us how we did today...</a></p>

</table>

I have found that trusting browsers to handle breaks, paragraphs and tables uniformly ends in problems. Why don't you use div elements to manage your spacing?
Code:
Kind regards,<br>
Youri
<div style="width:350px;max-width:95%;border:none;margin:0;padding-top:20px">
<div>
<a href="https://www.xxx.co.uk"><img src="https://www.xxx.co.uk/img/email/xxx.png" width="350" style="max-width:95%"></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align:center;padding-top:20px">
<a href="https://www.facebook.com/xxx" style="text-decoration:none !important; text-decoration:none;color:#000"><img src="https://www.xxx.co.uk/img/email/facebook.png" width="16" height="16" style="vertical-align:middle"></a> <a href="https://www.twitter.com/xxx" style="text-decoration:none !important; text-decoration:none;"><img src="https://www.xxx.co.uk/img/email/twitter.png" width="16" height="16" style="vertical-align:middle"></a> <a href="https://www.instagram.com/xxx" style="text-decoration:none !important; text-decoration:none;"><img src="https://www.xxx.co.uk/img/email/instagram.png" width="16" height="16" style="vertical-align:middle"></a>
</div>
<div style="text-align:center;padding-top:20px">
<a href="https://www.xxx.co.uk/review_service.php">please tell us how we did today...</a>
</div>
</div> |
