Hi there, I have a little question about the search function. So, instead of just searching the current folder, is there any possible way to change the search function to search all emails in a user's account? Thank you in advance.

Indeed that is possible. If you open Advanced Search ("arrow down" icon to the right from search bar) you'll see a number of additional search options, including the folder-related one:
You can also use such a flag for simple search, simply add "folders:all " before the search query, for example:
